Keith Azzopardi Tanti, born on March 17, 1984, hails from a working-class family. He is currently married and has two sons. He holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Malta, along with an ACCA qualification. Before his political career, he practised as an Accountant.
Hon. Azzopardi Tanti embarked on his political journey at a young age. In 2013, he accepted the invitation of the Labour Party to contest the Local Council election in Tal-Pieta. He was elected as a mayor in his first election and was subsequently re-elected after the 2019 election, maintaining his position as mayor.
As the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation, Keith Azzopardi Tanti is eager to utilize his experience, youthful energy, and academic background to drive positive change and progress in his role.
